Shaftec’s New To Range accelerates further with driveshafts

Following the addition of brake calipers and a propshaft in January, Birmingham-based Shaftec’s New To Range portfolio has grown even further with 114 new driveshafts.

These new driveshafts can be fitted to a range of vehicle manufacturers, including:

  • Alfa Romeo
  • Audi
  • BMW
  • Citroën
  • Dacia
  • Fiat
  • Ford
  • Hyundai
  • Jaguar
  • Jeep
  • Kia
  • Land Rover
  • Mazda
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • Nissan
  • Opel
  • Peugeot
  • Porsche
  • Seat
  • Skoda
  • Suzuki
  • Toyota
  • Vauxhall
  • Volvo
  • Volkswagen

Each part configures to specific forms of drive, fitting vehicles that operate in front, rear or all-wheel drive. Each of the driveshafts fit vehicles that operate on petrol, diesel, electric, or Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG).

Shaftec Marketing Manager Adrian Kitchen said: “We have acted quickly to bring in a new set of driveshafts to our ever-expanding remanufactured range. These components more than match the quality of new models, and through careful testing, we can assure our customers that these latest additions will deliver for their needs.

“We are proud to meet the needs of those who require parts for older vehicles, as we understand that financial implications are steering people away from more modern vehicles. The roads always need older cars, and Shaftec is here to strike a balance between serving customers with both older and newer models.”

Here are some signs that your driveshafts might need changing:

  • Inspect the driveshaft: Look for any signs of damage such as cracks or dents.
  • Check the U-joints: Check if there is any play or looseness in them.
  • Check for vibrations: If you feel any vibrations while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.
  • Listen for noises: If you hear any clunking or grinding noises while driving, it could be an indication of a damaged driveshaft.

Shaftec always recommends that if drivers notice any issues with their vehicle, they seek the advice of an expert.
