Truck Racing Review 2026
Sascha Lenz has once again finished the 2026 FIA European Truck Racing Championship with a top position in the overall standings. The SL TruckSport 30 driver once again demonstrated his exceptional driving skills and consistency at the very highest level across seven race weekends and 28 races. Diesel Technic offers its warmest congratulations on this successful season.
Behind the long-standing partnership between SL TruckSport 30 and Diesel Technic lies a shared passion for commercial vehicle technology. Sascha Lenz, who builds his own racing trucks as a qualified mechanic, has been one of the most successful drivers in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship for years. With products from the DT Spare Parts brand, Diesel Technic supports the team both on and off the racetrack. At the same time, valuable practical experience gained from racing feeds directly into the exchange between the two partners, making the collaboration a win-win situation for both sides.
Truck racing is regarded as the ultimate test for vehicle components. Numerous spare parts from the DT Spare Parts brand regularly prove their performance in Sascha Lenz’s racing truck. The MAN TGX is fitted with, amongst other things, wheel nuts and wheel bolts, wheel bearing assemblies, spring bushings, fuel filters, release bearings, turbochargers and foot brake valves. In addition, clutch kits, steering columns, wheel hubs and shift cylinders ensure the vehicle operates reliably. Those interested can find the full range on the Partner Portal at partnerportal.dieseltechnic.com. The high quality of the spare parts is particularly evident under the demanding conditions of motorsport. The Diesel Technic Quality System (DTQS) ensures consistently high product quality, for which Diesel Technic provides a 24-month guarantee.
The Parts Specialists support end users and the SL TruckSport 30 team with technical expertise on all aspects of DT Spare Parts brand spare parts.
In addition, at several racing events, they gave selected end customers a glimpse behind the scenes of truck racing. Exclusive pit visits, personal conversations with Sascha Lenz and group photos provided some special moments at the racetrack. The offer was exclusively for registered members of the Parts Specialists Club in the DT Spare Parts Premium Shop.
The season opener took place in May in Misano, Italy, followed by the race at the Slovakiaring in Slovakia. In July, Sascha Lenz’s home race – the International Truck Grand Prix at the Nürburgring – was on the programme. After the summer break, the racing calendar continued to Most in the Czech Republic, Zolder in Belgium and Le Mans in France. For the season finale on 3 and 4 October 2026, the teams returned to Jarama in Spain. With consistently strong performances throughout the season, Sascha Lenz deservedly secured third place in the overall standings.
Diesel Technic remains committed to long-term, trust-based partnerships and will continue its sponsorship of SL TruckSport 30 in the coming season
