SEG Automotive strengthens sales team for Germany, Austria, Denmark
As a manufacturer and one of the OE world market leaders for classic starters and alternators as well as 48V starter generators (RSG), SEG Automotive also convinces with quality products in the aftermarket. To meet the growth and offer customers first-class support, Thomas Behrens has been joining the company's sales team since 1 April 2026.
He is the contact person for customers in Germany, Austria and Denmark and represents the complete SEG Automotive range from starters, alternators, the so-called 48V Boost Recuperation Machines (BRM) – each new or remanufactured – to starting batteries and high-voltage motors, which are offered remanufactured under the 'redrive' brand.
Networkers at eye level
As a trained car mechanic, Thomas Behrens brings extensive practical experience as a customer service representative in an independent workshop and from other positions in the sales service of an independent parts dealer as well as in industry. He knows the aftermarket business from the ground up. Accordingly, he meets customers from trade and workshops at eye level, knows the respective challenges and speaks the same language. In his work for Valvoline, Magneti Marelli and ERICH JAEGER, he has become familiar with the complete range of applications, from passenger cars to commercial vehicles on and off the highway to special applications, which fits well with SEG Automotive's equally broad product portfolio.
His first impressions of customer contact are correspondingly positive: "Customers appreciate the premium OE quality that SEG Automotive offers them today. At the same time, I am repeatedly asked about the future of the aftermarket portfolio. With the 48V BRM, SEG Automotive is already delivering bridge technology for full electrification to our customers.
