Saleri Aftermarket launches the new Adaptive Switchable Water Pump

Patented OE technology now available to the Independent Aftermarket

Following their recent announcement, Saleri Aftermarket are pleased to provide further details about the new Adaptive Switchable Water Pump, the latest innovation from Saleri Aftermarket.

Developed from the Saleri Group's extensive Original Equipment expertise, this new variable flow water pump is based on an exclusive patented technology, bringing genuine OE innovation to the Independent Aftermarket.

Designed for VAG and Land Rover 1.6 and 2.0 TDI applications, it covers a car parc of more than 15 million vehicles.

A NEW INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY FOR OPTIMISED THERMAL MANAGEMENT

Unlike conventional systems operating with a simple ON/OFF logic, the new Adaptive Switchable Water Pump continuously adjusts the coolant flow according to the engine's actual thermal requirements.

At the heart of the technology is an axially moving metal ring, driven by an innovative actuation system developed and patented by Saleri. Combined with the pump's optimised internal geometry, this solution prevents the actuation mechanism from binding and keeps it isolated from contaminants that may be present in the coolant, ensuring reliable and consistent operation throughout the product's service life.
