New brake piston readjusting tool from HAZET
More often than not, you need to readjust the brake piston mechanically as part of service work on the brake. To prevent damage caused by jamming, HAZET has developed a new brake piston readjusting tool with HAZET No.: 4971-4 for single-piston and multi-piston brake callipers – with the excellent workmanship you can expect from ‘Made in Germany’.
Floating callipers can be readjusted in the same way as fixed callipers without damaging the boots or pistons. The basic version of this practical tool from the Remscheid-based manufacturer of quality tools is ideally suitable for 1-, 2- and 4-piston brake callipers. It can also be used for 6-piston brake callipers using the magnetic adapter plates (4971-3/2) designed for the brake piston readjusting tool. This makes the brake piston readjusting tool 4971-4 a truly universal tool for all common vehicle types without integrated locking device for handbrakes.
