ams OSRAM introduces the new generation of the NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED H7 and the first NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED H4 which is another milestone in the field of LED retrofit lamps. Both road-approved retrofit solutions carry the addition up to “+450%”1, as they offer exactly this astonishing increase in brightness. Combined with many further electronic improvements, OSRAM Automotive sets new standards in terms of performance, precision, and energy efficiency with the latest portfolio update.
With the new generation of the NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED H7 and the brand-new NIGHT BREAKER LED SPEED H4, ams OSRAM brings two powerful LED retrofit lamps to market that achieve a new level of peak performance.
The NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED H7 has been technically revised, improved, and further developed. The NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED H4 complements the portfolio as a new road-approved LED retrofit solution to replace classic H4 halogen lamps. Both innovations offer up to 450% more brightness1 with 50% reduced glare for even greater visibility and safety on the road. This is partly due to the first-ever fully controlled LED positioning, enabling optimized and more precise LED alignment.
In terms of efficiency as well, the innovations lead the field. High-quality premium bin LEDs and powerful OSRAM OSLON chip LEDs, combined with improved electronics featuring a new integrated circuit, ensure lower energy consumption with higher luminous efficacy.
Lamp replacement: simple, cost-effective, quick
The lamp replacement from halogen to OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER® LED SPEED can be carried out with minimal effort and some expertise or quickly done during the next workshop visit. The lamps feature a special 1:1 geometry that is almost identical to conventional halogen lamps. Therefore, no adapters, caps, or error cancellers are required – a genuine plug-and-play solution for end users and workshops.
ams OSRAM is continuously working on expanding the approvals for all OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER® LED series – the complete list of compatible vehicle models can be found here. ams OSRAM now offers ten approved LED lamp types for over 1000 vehicle models.
