ATR Digital Conference 2025: Addressing the Future of Mobility and Data

Barcelona, October 27, 2025 — ATR International AG successfully hosted its annual Digital Conference from October 21–22, 2025, in the vibrant city of Barcelona. Preceded by a welcome dinner on October 20, the event brought together over 100 shareholders, suppliers, and industry experts to explore the evolving landscape of the independent aftermarket (IAM).

This year’s conference focused on some of the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing the IAM. Central among them was the growing impact of e-mobility, particularly the influx of electric vehicles from China, which is reshaping the European automotive market. Participants discussed the implications for workshops, distributors, and suppliers, and exchanged ideas on how the IAM can remain competitive in a rapidly changing environment.

Another major theme was the critical role of vehicle data. Presentations and panel discussions addressed data sources, regulatory developments in Europe, and the need for fair and transparent access for all market participants. Both OEMs and independent sector representatives emphasized that data access is essential for innovation, competition, and customer choice.

The conference format combined keynote speeches, expert panels, shareholder and supplier perspectives, and interactive theme islands. This mix fostered both knowledge-sharing and informal networking, allowing participants to gain insights and build relationships that will drive future progress.

Beyond the formal programme, attendees enjoyed a unique walking tour through Barcelona’s oldest neighborhoods. This three-hour journey on foot offered opportunities to connect in a relaxed setting while exploring the city’s rich culture, history, and cuisine.
