AJUSA expands electric-vehicle repair range with new Audi e-tron motor kits
AJUSA has expanded its electric-vehicle product line with two new repair kits for selected Audi e-tron front-axle electric motors. The new references, EV001900 and EV001901, are available to order now and provide workshops with a repair option for insulation failure and problems involving the rotor main bearing.
The kits are designed to support a full motor overhaul or a seal-focused repair, depending on whether the rotor bearings need to be replaced. This gives workshops the flexibility to select the appropriate solution for the repair instead of replacing the complete electric motor.
Two kits for different repair requirements
EV001900
Complete kit with bearings
33 parts
Includes the gaskets and seals required for a full overhaul of the electric motor, together with both rotor bearings.
EV001901
Seal kit without bearings
31 parts
Provides the same gaskets and seals for repairs in which the bearings do not need to be replaced
Comprehensive kit content and technical support
Each repair solution brings the required components together under a single part number. Depending on the selected kit, the content includes the motor/inverter gasket, oil seals, mechanical seals, rotor-cooling gaskets, a grounding ring, an O-ring set and, for EV001900, both rotor bearings.
AJUSA also provides technical support materials for the repair, including a detailed repair manual and a step-by-step installation video. The repair manual covers high-voltage safety precautions, battery disconnection and the repair procedure.
