New Business Group Freudenberg Aftermarket

Freudenberg is consolidating its global Aftermarket activities

The Freudenberg Group is consolidating its global Automotive Aftermarket activities into one Business Group, effective January 1, 2027.
The move brings together expertise, product portfolios, and services from across the Group to further strengthen its aftermarket activities and build on decades of original equipment expertise.

By integrating expertise across Freudenberg, the new Business Group aims to leverage synergies, scale, and technical expertise to further strengthen its aftermarket activities and market position. The new organization will create a foundation for the continued development of a comprehensive aftermarket offering that sup-ports vehicle reliability and longevity while further enhancing product coverage, availability, speed to market, and digital capa-bilities for customers worldwide.

The creation of the new Business Group reflects Freudenberg's commitment to long-term growth in the aftermarket and to building on the strengths that exist across the Group. “We are combining the best of Freudenberg’s OE heritage with an integrated market approach and a disciplined M&A strategy. This will allow us to expand our portfolio, enhance market coverage, and make our solutions more accessible to Automotive Aftermarket customers globally” said Claus Moehlenkamp, CEO Freudenberg Group.
Felix Schindele (CEO), Manuel Mares (CFO), and Bryon Oster-land (COO) will serve as members of the Freudenberg Aftermar-ket Board.
